Director of Harris Architects & Designers since 2014, his practice has focused on residential work in Mallorca and Catalonia.
In both new building and reformation work, designs concentrate on close connection to place through form, material and spatial sequence and narrative.
Sustainability has been integral to this approach, both through incoporating traditional building methods with new technologies and through working with local materials and local craftsmen. The self-sufficient house in a fig orchard was awarded the Mallorca Architecture Prize in 2010.
